We put together this Ogawa Refresh Massage Chair Instructional video to help shoppers get more familiar with the Refresh, and walk through the features of the chair and remote. We show people how to turn the chair on and off, as well as pause the massage, and go into Zero Gravity. We also look at all the Manual and Automatic programs.
This is the Ogawa Refresh Operation Video. This is the remote to used to operate the Ogawa Refresh massage chair. We look over the Basic Buttons. The red button at the top left is the power button. This will turn the chair on and off. The green clock button adds time to your massage. Each time you press the button it will add 5 minutes to your massage. The white pause button pauses and un-pauses the massage. Now we look over the Automatic massage programs. There are 4 Automatic Programs, Relax, Relief, Therapy, and Full Air. Note that before an auto program begins there will be a 1 minute back scan. Relax is designed to provide a mild massage that is great for deep relaxation. Relief is a moderate strength massage that combines massage techniques. Therapy is a stretching massage in the reclined position. Full Air turns on a full body air compression massage. The LED butting turns the chromotherapy lights on and off. You can cycle through the Red, Green, and Blue colors. The M button turns on the Manual Massage. You can choose from Kneading, Swedish, Tapping, Shiatsu, Clapping, and Rolling. Use the Massage Direction button to change from Version 1 to the Version 2 of the massage technique. When in a manual massage use the up and down arrow buttons to change the direction of the massage. Use the Left and Right arrow buttons to change the width from Narrow, to medium to wide. Click “Manual Air” once to turn on calf and foot air compression. Press Manual Air twice to turn on Arm Air compression. Now we look at Spot and Partial massage. Choose a massage type and press the middle “Spot/Partial” button one time for a spot massage. Spot will massage in one localized area. Press the Spot and Partial button twice for a partial massage. Partial massage travels 3 inches up and down from the selected spot. To change the spot of your spot or partial massage press and hold the arrow buttons. Now we show you how to Adjust your massage. Percussion speed can be adjusted using the Speed button. Strength can also be adjusted with the Speed button. The Heat button turns on the Heat in the chair. The Vibration button turns on the vibration in the seat. To alter the intensity of your air massage, press the “Intensity” button. Now we look at the Manual Recline Buttons. The upper left button lifts the foot rest. Note that the footrest is spring loaded for adjustability. The lower left button lowers the foot rest. The lower right button reclines the chair. The upper right button brings the chair upright. The ZG button takes the chair into the Zero Gravity position. Press the ZG button a second time to take the chair into a deeper position. Press the ZG button a third time to return the chair to the home position.
